BIGELOW, Asa, b. Colchester, May 12, 1755; died Colchester, Jul. 28, 1830.
Md. Feb. 5, 1783, Lydia Newton
Children:  Lydia 1783, Guy 1785, Sally 1787, Lydia 1789, Loisa 1792, Asa 1794, Clarissa 1797, George N. 1799, Ann Eliza 1802, Abby 1708, Mary Louisa 1806.
Mil:  At ca. age 21 he was drafted, went on a short caompaign & received appointment as Sergt.  Afterward, as an ass't commisary under Chaplin, the Commissary General, he went several times into N.J., Pa., & Va.  He turned out at the Lexignton Alarm.
BROWN, Oliver,  born 1749; died May 23, 1823
Mil:  Served with 7th Co., 12th Regt.
FOOTE, Stephen, Born Colchester, Jan. 10, 1758; died Mar. 26, 1843.
s/o Daniel & Margaret Foote
Md. Colchester Nov. 16, 1786, Hannah Waterman, d/o Nehemiah Waterman of Bozrah.
Children:  Alfred 1787, Daniel 1789, Sarah Isham 1791, Eli 1793, William Henry 1794, Susannah 1796.
Mil:  Was on pension roll of 1812.
NEWTON, Israel, born Feb. 27, 1725; died Jun. 19, 1808
s/o James & Susannah (Wyat) Newton
Mil:  Served with th 5th Co., 25th Regt.
SMITH, Frederick, born 1762, died at Kerkimer, NY Jul. 20, 1850.
Mil:  Served several short enlistments in Tryon Co., N.Y. Militia.  His widow received Pension
