Mil: At ca. age 21 he was drafted, went on a short
campaign & received appointment as Sergt. Afterward, as
an ass't commissary under Chaplin, the Commissary General, he
went several times into N.J., Pa., & Va. He turned out at
the Lexington Alarm. |
