The following men were apparently in the Civil
War, but no regiment or other information could
be found: |
George M. Barnes, William Carse, W. H.
Ferguson, Timothy Finney, G. W. Griffith, James
McCann, Robert Mutton, W. K. Pershing.
Mrs. Anna Brown
Gorman's husband,
Michael
was to be called for army duty. She sat up
all night knitting socks for him to take.
He
bid his wife and children goodbye, but on
reaching Henry
from his farm, discovered that peace had been
declared. He returned home,
and had enough socks to last a year. |
