P.; owns 150 acres, valued at $9,000; his father was one of the earliest settlers, coming to this County in 1830, married Sarah Gardner, in 1858, who was born in Kentucky, and died, Nov. 6, 1875; has three children, named John P., Alice A. and Clara M.;  lost two, one of them, Rollin A., a musical prodigy, died on his 12th birthday; married Miss Agnes Patterson, Mar. 8, 1877; she was born in Warren Co. in 1854.

McNair, 1829; she was born in Penn., and died in 1870; has three children, two sons and one daughter, the wife of A. Burford; lost three sons.
