Located on the high bluffs, on West Robidoux street.

St Mary's Orphan Asylum
Orphaned boys.
Located northwest of the city.

Memorial Home
Housed female paupers willing to work.

Home for Little Wanderers/The Home for the Friendless
Now it is Noyes Home for Children
Housed children from 2-9 yrs old.
Located at 28th & Colhoun Streets 

 The Home for Ex-Slaves
Housed dependent ex-slaves.
Located at 17th & Highland 

Daughters of Charity of St. Vincent De Paul
Small hospital and school
1869-1872
Located on Felix Street between 6th and 7th Streets
