In 1918, my maternal Grandfather, Robert Montgomery, died from effects of the
Influenza Epidemic in Kansas City, Missouri. His body was
shipped by rail to Peoria, Illinois for burial
Also... the family of my paternal grandfather, Henry (Genaro)
Becerra in Kansas City, Missouri. He was a railroad laborer
who was born in Mexico

in the western portion of the U.S.

county was organized December 15, 1826 and named for President Andrew
