Good Luck and Happy Hunting
~ Sharon Wick ~
NOTE: My own particular interest in this
county is that
in 1860, My great-great grandparents lived here with their baby boy,
Samuel.
The time frame makes me certain that my great great grandmother,
Milly Ann Earp Grindle, was
pregnant with my Great Grandmother, Sarah Ann Grindle Love.
As the Civil War was about the break out, they moved back to
Illinois and My Great-Great Grandfather, Charles Grindle (Grinnell,
Grennell) entered the the service of the 116th Illinois Infantry and
became ill and died.
I am still trying to find out where Milly died and was buried.
