A. BRIGGS CEMETERY
A Private Cemetery located in Hartford
Record given by Mrs. Joseph Hughes of a private cemetery
on the Alvin Briggs farm now owned by George Gibbs.
This cemetery is located on the land west of Alfred Smith's
house near the woods.
The markers are gone and the graves are covered with bushes.
There were five or six graves. Some of the markers were
slate stone. A young woman named Mercy Moon and An
Old lady named Sally Briggs (and Spencer Briggs?)
were buried there
