The society met agreeable to
adjournment, at the Town Hall in Norwich. At half past
ten o'clock the President called the meeting to order.
Prayer by Rev. T. L. Shipman, of Jewett City.
On motion, a committee of three were appointed to prepare a
roll of members for the use of the convention. H.
H. Stark weather, A. E. Leonard, and J. B.
Thatcher, were appointed.
Voted, To raise a committee to prepare business
and present resolutions for the consideration of the
meeting, Rev. B. E. Hale Agent State Tem. Society,
Rev. G. M. Carpenter, Rev. J. P. Gulliver, Dr. W.
Hooker, and Messrs. J. Welden, Geo. Coit,
and E. Carpenter, of Colchester, were appointed.
The Committee appointed to prepare a roll report as
follows:
