LAWTON B. EVANS,
son of the former, a well-known educator and author,
superintendent of schools of Augusta and Richmond County;
authori of a school history of Georgia and of two school
histories of the United States, one for beginners and the other
for advanced pupils. He is also an able and interesting
lecturer.
