DEATHS IN KANSAS CITY
BAYLESS - Mrs. Nettie Bayless, 53 years old, wife of
Abraham Bayless, died yesterday at the family home, 609
Washington Boulevard. She was the mother of six children,
four of whom survive. They are Mrs. Morris N. Cohen,
Mrs. Gershon B. White, Herman J. Bayless and Mauriel
Bayless. A sister, Mrs. J. Friedson, also
survives. Funeral services will be held from the home
tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock. Burial will be at Elmwood
Cemetery BESSENBACHER-
Charles Bessenbacher, an employee of Heim's Brewery, died
at his home 1016 East Lynne Avenue, at 10:40 o'clock yesterday
morning. He was 34 years old. He is survived by his
widow, Mrs. Laura Bessenbacher; two children, John
and Francis Bessenbacher; his parents, Mr. and Mrs.
John Bessenbacher, 431 Garland Avenue; a sister, Miss
Anna Bessenbacher, Los Angeles, Cal.; Albert Bessenbacher,
3422 Anderson Avenue; Fred Bessenbacher, 1833 Penn
Street, and Robert Bessenbacher, Rochester Street and
Garland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Monday
afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Lutheran Church at Sixteenth
Street and Cherry Avenue. Burial will be in Elmwood
Cemetery. BROOKS- William Henry
Brooks died yesterday morning at the home of his son, E.
W. Brooks, 14 Lincoln Avenue, Rosedale. Mr. Brooks
was 59 years old. Surviving, besides his son and the widow
Mrs. Laura Brooks 900 Hollister Avenue, Rosedale, are two
daughters, Mrs. Eva May Strobell of Sheffield and Miss
Pansy V. Brooks of 900 Hollister Avenue; and two brothers,
George W. Brooks, 3022 Jackson Avenue, and Alonzo Brooks
of Sheffield. The funeral services will be held at 3
o'clock tomorrow afternoon at the home of the son. Burial
will be in Oak Grove Cemetery. |
