     * Samuel Walker was granted his first license "to still strong waters & to retale the same" in Woburn, and instead of being the first innholder at Woburn as has been stated, by Sewall (Hist. Woburn, page 170), he was the third, being preceded by Joseph Carter and "John Seir." (See notes under Carter and Sears.)  Thomas Walker kept an ordinary at Sudbury.  In 1682, Henry Somers succeeded Samuel Walker as innkeeper in Woburn.
     In the suit of Dutton vs Bacon in April, 1668 (see note under Dutton), Israel Walker aged about 70, testified.
