WILLIAM T. AMES
- As president of the First National Bank, of Woodbridge, New
Jersey, Mr. Ames has also to be given credit for
establishing, in his native village, this institution of which, as a
"native son," he was glad to be the means of adding to the modern
benefits of the village. Woodbridge was his birthplace and
boyhood home, and he has for the venerable town a real affection.

Ayres, and they were the parents of William T. "Ames,
