NOTE:  The books cited as Libers. 1, 2, 3, etc., are of West Jersey Wills.  Thos cited as Libers A, B, etc., are of East Jersey Wills.  Where there is no reference, the wills or other papers, of which abstracts are given, are among the unrecorded wills of the county to which they pertain.  Thus, on this page, the will of George Abbott (or Abbott) is recorded in Liber No. 3, of West Jersey Wills, page 61.  The inventory of his personal estate is not recorded, but is filed in the box or boxes containing Salem county wills and other papers pertaining to the administration of estates for that county.  Besides the regular series of West Jersey wills, there are three of Salem Wills, and many are to be found in the Burlington Records.  In some cases where the county is not designated in the papers, the reference has been added, as "Middlesex Wills,"  meaning that the papers are not recorded, but may be found in the box or boxes containing Middlesex Wills, etc.
