Milo Twp. -
SALEM TURNER, farmer; Sec. 17;
P. O. Manchester; born in Cheshire Co., N. H., Nov. 16,
1834; came to Lee Co., Ill., in 1857, and to this county in
1860; enlisted in 6th Iowa Cavalry Sept. 10, 1864; was
honorably discharged Oct. 20, 1865. Married Miss
Julia Raymond, Aug. 16, 1856; she was born Aug. 27,
1836; has eight children - Annie, Minnie, Charles, Geo.,
Ellen, Cora, Lewis and Lucy.
