in the county of Meath, Nov. 18, 1755; viscounty
Preston, and earl of Ludlow, Aug. 26 1760 In June
1753, he married lady Francis, eldet daughter of
Thomas-Lumley Saunderson, earl of
Scarborough, by whom he has issue a son, born Jan. 1,
1756; another born Dec. 12. 1758; and a daughter, born
July 4, 1757. -

THIS family was
anciently seated at Whitfield, in the county of
Northampton; of which is descended Joseph Leeson,
Esq; who on April 27, 1756, was created a baron
by the title of baron Russborough; on Aug. 26, 1760, a
viscount; and on April 30, 1763, earl of Milltown.
His lordship was born on March 11, 1711, and in Jan.
1729, married Cecilia, eldest daughter of
Francis Leigh of Rathlagan, in the county of
Kildare, Esq; by which lady (who deceased Nov. 29, 1737)
he had issue Joseph viscount Russborough, born in
Dec. 1729; lady Mary, born in Nov. 1734, and
married in 1764 to John Bourke, son of John
Bourke, Esq; member for Palmerstown; Brice,
born in Dec. 1735, and in 1765, married Miss Maria
Graydon.
He married secondly, in
1738, Anne, daughter of Nathaniel Preston
of Swainstown, Esq; and by her, who died in 1767, had
issue one daughter, lady Anne, born in May 1750.
