Many Marriage Licenses.
A compilation made by Chief Deputy Clerk O'Hara
shows that 65 marriage licenses were issued in October,
4 more than for the same month last year June and
October are the two months of the year when Cupid is
especially busy. During June of last year 64
licenses were issued and this year the total reached 60.
A large proportion of the licenses are issued for the
marriage of persons who live in Baltimore. |

Reckord -
Peddicord.
Miss Gladys D. Peddicord, daughter of the
superintendent of the Western Maryland Railway, and
Mrs. Walter D. Peddicord, of Hagarstown, and Mr.
Edward L. Reckord, son of Walter P. Reckord,
of Cockeysville, were quietly married Tuesday morning at
Towson. The bride wore a suit-of white, with
hat and gloves to match. Mr. and Mrs. Reckord
left for a few days' visit to the latter's parents and
later will reside at Marble Hill, Cockeysville.

Roddy - Pattison.
A telegram received yesterday morning by Mrs.
Mary Weldon, of 213 Singer avenue, Arlington, from
Keyser, W. Va., announced the marriage of her daughter,
Miss Beatrice Natiello Pattison, to Mr.
Thomas V. Roddy, of Baltimore. The wedding
took place Monday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs.
W. E. Mellor, Argyle avenue, Keyser. The
ceremony was performed by the Rev. Harry Baughman,
pastor of Keyser Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Mr. and Mrs. Roddy are now touring in the North, and
on their return will reside with the bride's mother at
Arlington. |
