FATAL ACCIDENT - On Monday evening week, as Mr. F.
H. Contoit was driving from the city of New York to Jamaica
in company with Mr. E. Wenman, owing to the darkness of
the night he drove off the road, by which means the gig was
upset, and they were thrown on a pile of stones. Mr.
Wenman had his face cut, and was considerably bruised, but
Mr.. Contoit was so much injured that he expired on
