The Lexington (Ky.) Observer
notices the death of Joseph Brown, jr., of that
city, who was suffocated by smoke whilst lying in his bed.
The cushion of a covering of a settee in the room took fire
whilst he was asleep, and when he awoke he was so far exhausted
that he could give no alarm, though he got out of bed, and was
found on the floor dead.- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
